I would have to say a 39 inch northern pike on 10 lbs test. My drag wasn't working the best that day and my god did that thing ever giver. Best fight ive ever had.
i would say my hardest fight was a 70inch+ lake sturgeon on a medium-heavy action uglystick spinning combo with like only 10 or 15lb test had the sturgeon right next to the shore when it just jumped and snaped the line .
my second hardest fight was a 62inch lake sturgeon that same day.
and my third hardest fight was a 48.5inch chinook salmon flyfishing in kenosha wisconsin
Ya I do but there not digital and at home in one of my photo albums. Ill have to grab them next time im home and scan them. It was caught on Portage Lake up in da UP.
I don't really think there is one specific that is hardest to fight. I think it depends on the fish...I've had little sunfish that fight like a 5 pound trout and had a 40inch striper that put up almost no fight (much less than some sunfish i've caught).
Pound for pound I think the hardest fighting is Yellowtail or any member of the Jack family. They dog it to the very end and know how to tangle you up in structure too!
just came back from Brazos Bend State Park and i caught my first bowfin. it scared the **** out of me. i was catching crappie so i was using feeder goldfish. while i was fishing i saw two gators, so when this bowfin hit i thought i had hooked one. i was ready to cut the line till the fish came up and i realized it wasnt a gator.
