Hardest fish to keep?

For those who have had neon tetra problems, you are not alone;)
I believe that just don't like some areas water quality as i've done well with them in urban missouri yet terrible on massachusetts well water and average on NY well water and terrible on NY city water....I've found that if you get them past the first few weeks then they become very hardy.
 
For me, stupid as it may sound, anything Pleco.

X2 - The only type I've been able to keep alive more than a year is a Marble Sailfin. It seems like the fancier the pleco the quicker it dies. I did keep a Blue Phantom alive for maybe two years, but that was unusual.
