Hardier fish? Dats or Aros?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I would say it depends on the specific type and size. Overall I would say they're about the same.

i would say aros. ive had almost a whip out in dats. lost a dat every so often and couldnt figure out what was going on and nothing else in the tank died besides dats. until 10 dats died and 8 survived the plague

depending on which type of aro.. silver lives through anything...:headbang2 some are more sensitive. with dats ive seen half dead dats surviving, hard one there...

i think silvers are weak aros. jars are pretty hardy. asians are babied by owners. just my 2 cents

While youngish, aro's are les hardy, for sure...when grown should be the same, I guess...

Yeah both are pretty hardy but dats dont develope drop eye

dats seam to get white spot/ick if you ship them when young mainly NTT/thin bars

if you are talking about com tanks i would say its harder to com a large group of tigers than it is to com say 6 aros

i would say they are both as hardy as each other

id say after 12" both fish are the same....below that probs dats....but my arows have lived through crappy water...so id say both the same.
