Gambusia..impossible to kill them expect the lack of water and the fish eating fish.

lol true I have a zillion in the yard and forgot to mention them , I cant fathom any fish hardier

I "had" a 14" Common Pleco that was....13 years old. One of the first fish i bought when i started... 13 years ago ;) moved onto various friends houses, took a liking to eating anything with flat sides, smashed a 55... fun old fish.

Only reason i pawned him in was due to an up coming house move...BUT hes still in the LFS, so i may have to go pick him up again. (hes killed one of their 24" clown knives, so their not best pleased with me)

Craggy

any one else?

bump

Gold Gourami......

my jack dempseys are both very hardy...

my marble angel fish... he has lived through three waves of ick. and out of all my fish he lived. :D

hands down the hardiest fish ive ever had are swordtails... we got the house fumigated somewhere around a year ago.. most of the fish were put in rubbermaid tubs and went to my work and camped out in the office... but i left a few swordtails in each tank just to see if they would make it... wraped up the tanks the best i could with the fancy poisonproof plastic and left them here to ride it out...

3 days later when we got home all the tanks full of poison.. (making them air tight may not have helped either but who knows).. even the plants were dead... but there was atleast 2 swordtails alive in each tank nibbling at the dead ones... they went into a bucket and i prettymuch just waited for them to die... scrubed all the tanks in the backyard and set everything back up...
threw the dying swordtails in a qtank and just waited... within 3 weeks only 1 died... the rest of them went back into general population and started breeding within 48 hours...
most amazing fish ever... one of the babies from the first batch of fry spent over a month in the sump in a filtersock... hes still alive and doing great...

jack dempseys and convicts...tough as nails, and will tolerate a lot that most fish won't live through

Exactly what I was going to say as well.
