Hey everyone, just looking for some good looking background plants that wont die too easily. AKA wont die from a vicious pleco attack. I know plants don't do good with plecos around but just hopping to keep trying until I find something my pleco finds disgusting lol.

Amazon swords, Vals, and Anubias are all excellent plants that don’t die easily. Are they background plants? Well....

Niki_up Niki_up unless I’m mistaken that tank is a square? Do a water change then flip it around.

Your correct it is a cube tank...after switching my 90g for the 130g I think I can live with this one this way for a little bit.
I also am not sure I can flip it...I believe the lip the filter is on is the smallest lip on the tank and it wouldn’t fit in any other sides...

This tank below has a 5-6" wild caught Panamanian Pleco.
It would be best to take the Pleco out while the plants are establishing a root system, and are securely anchored before returning it to the tank. Any newly added plant will simply be dislodged

the plants are mostly Vallisneria and Hydrilla, and were planted in the substrate about 6 weeks before the Pleco came along.
