That site has about as much credibility as the 9/11 conspiracy site that was on here the other day.

I disagree the 9/11 site was more of an alternative view, as credible as the "official" story, not saying I believe it just think it's a different scenario as this site. This one is just someone who has bought into their fears that there are people out there who have different religion than themselves, and that the cause is popular culture. This is why it's always a good idea to keep religion and government seperate.

Just their beliefs. They are entitled to it. It is a shame that religion has become synonynous with fear and intolerance but I guess there are extremists in everything.

Agreed, extremists in every faith and well in almost everything as you say. I mean go to a Star Trek convention, I mean it's an OK TV series and some good films, but it doesn't make me want to translate War and Peace into klingon? Some of them are pretty extreme.

I have to say that harry potter is not acceptable for christian children it does promote paganism and witchcraft to be a likeable thing and that is conflicting to the moral code of the holy bible.Me as a christian adult i have seen 1 of the potter movies it was o.k. from a entertainment standpoint but offensive in some ways to my beliefs and i fully support the postion of exposing satanism.com.There are many mainstream themes that the devil is useing to get at your kids these days u must decied what is right for u and your family to watch.I enjoy lots of fantasy movies like lord of the rings wich was written by a christian by the way but children can get mixed up on what is right and wrong in movies AND REAL LIFE.For example child may think gandolf the white wizard and hero of the movie would be a good role model to be like WRONG i find myself telling people especialy kids there is no such thing as a good witch it is all evil in the eyes of the lord Jesus Christ.

That's part of the problem IMO most people don't understand that it is just that entertainment. People who subscribe to the view point of this site basically think everything has or has to have a message. As well they believe that it has to have a christian message or at least one that doesn't conflict with the christian view. I have no problem if you only want to expose your children to ONLY the christian POV, beliefs, ways of life, etc. However when people protest movies, burn books etc. and tell everyone else they should do the same then I have a problem. I myself am a daoist and if I had kids I wouldn't mind at all if they wanted to learn about other faiths and beliefs. Because something isn't of my faith I don't automatically label it "offensive". It may ne paganism but that is a religion and in the USA people are allowed to choose thier own faith and make their peace with God on terms that work for them and God. If they choose to do so at all.

I totally agree with you that each person has the right to make that choice (of what they and their families watch) on their own. As far as the devil using mainstream themes to get at your kids that comes down to one's beliefs. It may be hard to fathom but some people don't believe in the DEVIL.

As far as Gandolf goes I think he was a positive roll model, he rose to the occasion against greater (in number) forces even when all it seems was lost. However as far as real life goes I don't believe in witches, wizards, illusionists etc. Except that Chris Angel guy man he's cool. Oh and maybe David Blaine? Not to sure about him though. How do you go about telling people Gandolf is wrong in the eyes of Jesus? Do you over hear them and jump into the conversation forcing your view? Some how I doubt that you do, so there's nothing wrong with your beliefs my friend.

The girls gone wild commercials are only harmful because they suck, it's like watching semi-porn. Answer me this why are your kids looking up porn? Are they unsupervised on the computer? Why are they watching late night TV and why aren't you with them if they are?

Kids are going to see things wether we like it or not, wether we are ready for them to see it or not. That's when it's time for people to step up and be the parents they thought they were ready to be when they had kids in the 1st place and offer guidance! Parental guidance at that.
