Has any ever seen a red eye bass? Pic enclosed

I have caught tons of them. They are a sub species of the rock bass. There are lots of different black bass species.

Not even in the same genus. The red eye bass is a member of the genus Micropterus which only includes 8 recognized species and several subspecies. The rock bass is more closely related to a bluegill than a bass. I am going to do a write-up once and for all on the different bass species.

where im from we call those red eye, pretty common fish they seem to be pretty hardy considering they take jigs like its nothing and ive caught plenty that looked tore up

If any of you are still looking for one, there's an auction for a juvie on aquabid.
