Discovered this when I came back after I was overseas for 5 days.

Quarantine the guy and over the course of 2-3 weeks I treated about 4-5 treatment of metro cure . Initially 1 tablet a day for 3 days considered 1 treatment. Last 2 treatment I did 2 tablets a day for 3 days

Water change 90% every 3 days . Added aquarium salt.

For past last week.. his appetite improved. Hole has healed up. Water change 90% every 3-4 days, continuing with aquarium salt dosage.

Intend to put him back in tank end of this week if all goes well.

Total time taken was oct 8 till current

IMG_3721.JPG IMG_3949.JPG I beat HITH with API General cure & vitachem.

It took a lot of research and trial and error but eventually the pits started filling in and now there's just a little scar.

This is the only treatment which worked for my oscar.

Prazipro will not touch nematodes, capallaria or camallanus. IF you have tried metronidazole and your fish are still stringy poo, get some levimasole. Guaranteed to work.

Im not a chiclid guy, so i cant speck as to the Hole in the head. As far as i know metro should "cure" it but it may be chronic and fatal. If they stop eating you can try garlic, and still spitting it out you may need to directly inject the metro into its mouth with a soft syringe. (out of the water, sedated)
