i once had a friend who kept all of his pet fish that had died in his freezer.......he never claimed to have eaten one though!

A few years a buddy of mine had a father-in-law that put a deep freezer in an RV just for that. Oscars were considered an invasive species in FL and he’d go down and come back with a load of Oscar. Pretty tasty. Makes me sad now as I just rescued 2 that a guy that wanted to rent from me was going to dump in a river. Separate post coming soon on care, never kept Oscars before.
