I have 2 Florida Spotted Gars but they've never bit me. (lol guess I'm lucky)
They are 2 of the best behaving fish I've ever had.

My 12" Florida gar Latched onto my middle finger once when i was moving a floating plant once, It scared the crap out of my and i jumped and jerked my hand out of the tank, And along with my hand Came the gar, into the Floor he went. I was so afraid i thought for sure he had gotten hurt. But he got away with only a Hedache after hitting the Floor. was a good 5' Drop. As for my finger it was bleeding from about 10 tiny holes. But i was way more worried about my Gar, rather then my finger..
