If you're tank is crowded, don't add more, but they don't get so big that you need a 125 gallon for one.

125 gallons should be the minimum for a fish that gets over 14 inches....right?

I've also heard they get to be about 15", so if your tank is already overcrowded and you drop those in there then you'll have some major cichlid fights/deaths/tragedies.

lol a jammy sod? that does that mean?

what up ive got a 8in mayan with a 3in firemouth and a mixed african they all get along great in my 72 gallon, max size for this fish is 12in dont let anyone tell ya different and they are massive aggressive thats why there called orange tigers you need at least 72 gallon or bigger for this fish

how are you getting them back to NJ? don't think you can take 'em on a plane, unless you can keep 'em in 3oz of water (each?) . . .

look.. to be honest there not a fish you want to add to a tank thats already drowded.. they are very fiesty and actually bullies at times and get big... 15+ i had one in with my texas.. well before he got ripped to shreds overnight.. but he was still very mean lol
