Has anyone ever lost a Fish to a Cat?

i just pulled my cat out of the sump.....
i know she has a thing for tank water.. but she was IN the sump.. standing on the driptray smacking at the bubbles coming out of the line from the overflow....

wtf is wrong with this effin cat..

That is just too funny! You could use her as filter floss! Luckily one of my cats hasn't taken a dip in my sump yet.

While she had no problem putting her paws or head in to drink the betta's water, Farah will not look our big guys in the eyes....I don't know if she is afraid of the fish, or afraid we'll make her swim (like we do at the lake). She gets extremely uncomfortable when we hold her up to look at the pacu.

My cat knocked my betta fish out of their little divider aquarium, but didn't eat them. They dried out before I got home

Stray cats ate some of my goldfish kept in my pond.

Anabelle my kitten finally realized she has grown big enough to jump on top of my 120g.

I've been dreading this ever since I got her.

Now she leaves paw prints on the side of the tank because she still misses her mark when jumping up, and she loves sticking her paws in the water to lick them.

She prefers tank water to clean fresh water in her bowl.

When she first jumped up on the tank, the flowerhorns would jump to bite her lol

Never lost a fish to a cat, but an ex-girlfriend's cat got my african clawed frog.

my cat went scuba diving in my 3 ft when i had a fighter fish in there and a few other fish my poor fishy lol
