Has anyone ever seen this variant?

Oliver will actually take the time to take pictures of the fish you are asking about for you....:headbang2 :naughty: ....last time I checked Rapps didn't even have a camera or time to take pictures. I suppose that is one of his downfalls. Doesn't make the fish any less desirable though! ;)
 
no less desireable, but being new to pikes or like a lot of people interested but dont know alot about them some nice pics of whats available could go a long way. someone not in the know might not feel comfortable emailing for pics.

Or if they at least kept an updated list the distributor/vendor would not have
to answer a bunch of "do you have" questions. Then if the potential buyer wants a pic he could then email and request one.

I totally agree! I still LOVE getting pictures of the pikes before I buy them. Its almost best too when you are getting pikes, cuz there are so many variants, and it can be hard to ID them, so you need to know what you are getting, or at least have an idea what you are getting. I almost considered buying Rapps a camera at one time....lol....he really does need to take pictures!

Only problem is he probably gets A LOT of requests to have pictures of fish. I'm sure it would be annoying having to take pictures of the fish every time and then send them to people. I think he has a professional photographer come in like ever three or so months.
 
i dont mean to sound like im bagging on these guys my lack of knowledge isnt their problem. i am sure they are all great guys and they have been helpful everytime ive asked. i do think it would help move their fish though
 
Gimmanie the 'madiera' variant looks awesome ... i need to get me more pikes .. used to have a peruvian pair but the female died .. my fault .. still have a male ... okay who is oliver ... is he a vendor here .. i frequent jeff rapps site every so often ... sorry to derail but been looking for red tapajos pikes .. anyone w/ info?
