Has anyone ever used Black Diamond blasting abrasive for sand? Input please??

When I first did research into what black sand to use I remember reading that the blasting sand was not good for aquariums. I don't remember where I read that at, but there were enough negative comments to make me look for an alternative. I found estes brand permacolor quartz to be a safer alternative.

I have never heard of that but I will have to check into it.. Thanks for the tip though....

I use it for all my tanks and I keep geos. It's great but make sure to wash it really well. It's dusty
Thanks bryan , I did buy some and cleaned it for 3 days to get it clean and ran a few strong magnets through it real good to get all the metal out of it. I have it super clean, got all the metal out of it and have it in a tank now but still scared to put any fish in with it yet.. I think I will try some gold fish in there first..lol..
