I used it on my truck's exhaust tip and as a background paint on my 30 gal glass. Planning to black out the badges and grills too. I say go for it and post pics.

Used it to cover up the chipped paint and rust on my honda civic. Hood and trunk and it held for a really long time. Did it myself learned from YouTube. Going to do my rims black on my mazda 626. I would say do it. And make sure you do at least three coats or until smooth looking. Home Depot is very cheap. DO IT

my wheels are plastidipped white with silver metalizer over it. going to be doing my whole car this weekend in a custom cream color
Plasti dip is pretty awesome. Used it on my cars grill. I like it because its durable and it peels off easy.
Lots of my friends have used it, awesome stuff. For a black mustang I'd say.. Blue, yellow, reds what I did. On the rims, brakes, emblems, etc.
