Yeah. My jardini is my favorite fish, but if he starts to be a "richard" I will have to get rid of him.

I will introduce my jar to my wife parrot fish in her 2 month. Do will see what happen. They on the same tank but I got a clear divider. So basically they can see each other. So hope that help.

I recently sold off my 7" Jardini because it snapped and would attack it's tank mates whenever the lights were off. My new Jardini is about 5".. Grew it out from 3.5".. So far so good.

Ya basically personality. I love the way an adult jar looks with its dots and all. Hope mine will be a successful.tankmate!

I really like the ones that are completely insane and destroy everything. I would definitely get a super aggressive one and keep it alone in a tank. I hope it works out for you and he doesn't go on a killing spree. It's mostly personality. Good luck with the tank!

Mine was fine with tankmates till around 6inches then started trying to kill everything he didi kill an orinate bichir and royal pleco and almost got my uaru. I have had him since he was like 2 inches now he is about 13 inches in a 120 gallon tank by himself he is insane and will attack me through the glass and sometimes durring tank cleaning. Love him though one of my favorite fish.

I have 24 inch jar living with a 4 inch vejia and a few gold fish which he was suppose to eat but refuses too the vejia has beaten the gold fish up but soon going to add some other cichlids all small.

I added a 6 inch oscar pair and the male attacked the jardini I freaked and expected the jar to turn around and bite them but he ran like a little girl and the oscars had to come out he was too scared to swim back there lol.... I think my jardini is a bit errm not quite right!

SO I guess it really dose depend on the fish I guess.

I agree. Well, I hope ill get that lucky
