Has anyone seen this happen to their Flowerhorn before?

Something is clearly wrong with my Flowerhorn.
I believe he may have gotten into a fight and hemorrhage’s through his right nostril with the blood coagulating. It just looks so odd does anyone know what it is?

Hard to say but looks like a twig stuck in it s face. Blood wouldn’t coagulate in that shape. Crazy looking.

I thought it was a stick stuck into its face too. Never seen anything like this before. Is it possibly some kind of parasite? I doubt blood would form that shape but I dont really know, How is the fish acting, is he eating and acting normally?
If you could get some real close up pictures it may help someone identify what it is. Maybe even take the fish out of the water to get a good look at it and snap some pictures at the same time nice and close.

Here are some close ups.
It isn’t a twig. I don’t have anything that would resemble a twig in the aquarium.
The fish is behaving perfectly normal being territorial and eating as per usual.
The bruising that was on the right side of his face is lessened as though it drained out through his nose. Whatever that is seems to have grown.
It’s definitely coming out of the right nostril.

Can’t know for sure. Gotta catch the fh and see if it’s something that’s stuck in it or a growth. Not sure about parasite but an interesting thought.

So I caught the fish and the object dislodged in the net. It actually broke off and some is still in the fish’s nostril. It is something biological it feels like bone and has micro spines that slope in one direction. So this can penetrate in one direction and can’t be pulled out from the point of entry. I have no idea what it is. I removed it from the fish’s nostril. In the pics you can see the smaller segment was all th way in the nostril.

It has come off another fish in the aquarium. The only 2 candidates are sail fin pleco it ghost knife??

Looks like it came off the pleco. Is he missing any parts? (Pleco) pics?

My pleco and male green terror used to fight a lot. I moved the pleco because it was so upsetting to see how violently they would get into it.

That would make sense it being from a pleco.
