I can't believe there are ppl out there claiming their products will eliminate water changes:screwy::screwy::screwy::screwy:

the minute one of these companies say that it is ok to not do WC's then it is time to ignore them...reminds me of 'waste control' and other products that are supposed to help eliminate WC's...complete crap

wasnt this the same thing as the bio orbs? that they maintain themselvs and what not? rip off if u ask me.

oh god. reminds me....was at petsmart the other day getting a heater and heard the fish lady say "...yeah use this gravel vac to get the poop out, it'll help your amonia problem. Twice a month should be good at first then you can cut back...." took every fiber of my being to keep my mouth shut and walk away...yes it's petsmart but still, do they not at least try to teach the employees the nitrogen cycle...:irked:

Nope, the corporate machine runs on profit alone. There is no profit in morals. Add to that, employees are considered disposable and very temporary. Any education will be wasted when an employee is replaced, therefore all training is kept to a bare minimum. The knowledge of the nitrogen cycle does not bring profit; the operation of a fish net does.
