Ive used thos they suck. Your better off with a sponge block and carbon bag in each chamber
Why do they suck? And what size sponge do the marineland bio wheel 200's take?

Oh and BPags52 thank you very much for your input and pictures! I really appreciate it. You helped me out a lot:)

Thos blue ones suck ass they wear out faster then the standard filters and dont filter for **** you can only rinse them 2 times before they shred

I use fluval foam blocks and bags of carbon What is the difference between the Fluval 3 & 4?
The only difference is the size the thickness is the same but the 4 plus measures 8.25 x 3 inches. The 3 plus is 6.75 x 2.5. you can even use the blocks and bags of carbon with the standard filters

i only use the blocks and bags of carbon in thos hobs just bc they dont wear out and filter the water the best.

Those dimensions don't fit an emperor filter cartridge's slot.
Which dimensions do you speak of? :)

you can use ac sponge blocks also they are alittle better i usem also on another 400 you need 2 boxs to fill up the bays

Just what im tryin to say is dont limit yourself to thos weaksauce blue filters they are weak like ukraine

I dont' use any of those either. I mod AC sponge blocks and use the grey media containers the Emperors come with. I fill in the blanks with pot scrubbies or bags filled with media (Eheim Substrat Pro or BioMax). The Emperors media basket i fill with Substrat Pro and/or floss.
