has anyone used pool filter sand?

Agree with everyone so far. PFS has been one of the best investments that I have made for my 125g tank. You can't beat the price, easy to maintain and looks great.....
 
i have playsand and pool filter sand in tanks and tbh im thinkin bout takin the playsand out and switchin it to pool filter sand also.
 
got mine at a pool store 50 pounds for 8$ didnt really shop prices so you might be able to get it cheaper

like previously stated.. i also got mine as leslie pools supply.. was about 10 bucks for a 50lb bag... alost better then the 50-60 bucks the fish store wants for a 50lb bag.. i bought 6 bags for the price of one fish store bag... cant beat it!
 
love pfs i got the regular one instead of the white really regret it, it really doesnt get sucked up in the siphon works great for me and cheap
