Has anyone went fishing for piranha?

Has anyone ever been on a fishing trip in South America and caught wild piranha? If so, share your experience por favor!

Easiest fish to catch. Its throw in and pull out

All red bellies? or were there others? What was the largest you caught? Were you able to keep them?

Several large ones, most red bellies. Will try to find pix.

We ate them grilled. No way could we transport them to europe. We ususally go deep in the amazon, couple of days by boat out of Manaus.
