So I was checking on everyone in my 90 and I saw my salvini pooping, nothing odd about that, but once it was done I saw my Blackbelt swoop in and grab the item and eat it. I'm familiar with cichlids grabbing then spitting it out but my blackbelt actually ate. Has anyone else witnessed this and if so is it a sign of anything?

My raphael cat has been known to eat it, don't worry a small amount won't hurt them. Now if that's all they eat and eat it all the time then talk to me because then I think you have an "odd" fish.

I'm not worried it's just a surprise to see one not spit it out. I watched her grab it do the eating motions then swim off like nothing. She's really isn't picky lol

Had one or two do that over the years...maybe they were just nutritionally supercharged jobbies

It repulsed me to see a dog eat its feces and I used to have a polypterus that used to do it on occasion and the sight used to repulse me as well...I no longer have a dog or a polypterus.
