You mean his bently? yes, what a c*ck. But it would only be 2 weeks wages tops for him to get a new one but the press was all over it like it was the most financially ruining disaster in history! It would be the equivalent of me trashing a £100 banger! I don't like the press either, but that's a bit off topic.

Thanks mate. I'm close to a medical discharge now cause i got injured out of area. But you see these guys on tv getting paid a fortune and it makes me sick. They'll never have to do some of things i have.

Football is doing a good job of alienating everyone else already in my opinion. i went to see a couple of games when i was a lad, but there's no way i'd pay the ticket prices asked now to watch one. It's those really high ticket prices that are paying these over acting idiots Thousands a day. I don't think i could ever get tired of hitting Christiano Ronaldo.

I am a season ticket holder at united and the costs to go are getting higher each year to the point this year i share a season ticket with a relative. I love the game and always have (even had a stint of playing when i was a nipper as a trainee at Rochdale AFC) but it saddens me to see what is happening to the game due to the money men. It was once for the working man and was played by no nonsence blokes who we could relate to, alas no more.

Hats off to you mate - your lot should be shown a damn sight more respect and gratitude than you are.

As an American that has never gotten into football(soccer) I am almost amazed to hear that they make that kind of money. Then again it is the world's game so it only makes sense that the men that are good enough to play in the pro leagues make more than those in other sports. It still baffles me how us Americans name a sport in which the ball rarely touches your foot as football, and just made up a name for the original football that no one else in the world uses.

a few of my mates have season tickets too and i used to go when there was one spare even tho i'm a toon fan, i aint bin for ages now and have stopped goin to the pub to watch the mighty toon as its just all overpaid wingers moanin everytime they dont get there way

think i prefer watchin sunday league now

im fighting for my medical discharge now. after 5 years of zero healing i asked for a discharge and then they throw all sorts of delaying tactics at it such as pain specialists etc. cos my injury has got worse over the years my med cat is no longer in line with my injury but they wont get me boarded because im 18 months from end of contract. im running circles around them with their own regulations though so i will win in the end. lump sum and 2 pensions will do me fine.

i agree with the guys dodging bullets along with docs and nurses deserving that sort of cash more than some ponce running around a field for 10 mins, in some cases.

I'd be happy with less than half what they get and would probably have the intelligence to spend it better than they do too.

I'm supposed to be under the care of the RRU at Honington atm, it just seems insane that if i'd gone NHS rather than med center i'd probably be sorted by now! Got some friends that are medics and have told me the wording to use at my permanent boarding latter this year.

Where are you based?

i just did at the current exange rate they are offering kaka

50.85 million U.S. dollars per year

that is quite a bit more than rodriguez

The yankess have the 4 highest played players in the MLB. (jeter, A-rod, sabthia and Texeria. each from 20-27 mil, it adds up to much more than 50.85, and i'm sure the listed football team hasn't spent the kind of money listed for this player on everyone or anyone else for the matter, or even in the same price universe.

im at RAF Marham mate. yeah it took me 3 days to find all their guidelines that they have to follow and the PULLHEEMS (i think its right) physical grading system that the docs use to decide whether you need a med board or not. they arent following the surgeon generals guidelines though so i have them over a barrel. they were on about sending me to Honnington for remedial but once i reminded the remedial PTI that it was a non-union of the 4th metatarsal they sharp changed their minds after realising i was a law suit waiting to happen if they touched a broken bone.

i think you only need to look at chelsea when they won the title back in 2005 in less than 2 years they spend £300million on new players and hit over £1 billion in transfer fees and wages

Frank Lampard Chelsea FC £130,050 £6,762,600
John Terry Chelsea FC £130,050 £6,762,600
Andriy Shevchenko Chelsea FC £124,313 £6,464,250
Michael Ballack Chelsea FC £124,313 £6,464,250
Didier Drogba Chelsea FC £117,619 £6,116,175
Michael Essien Chelsea FC £80,325 £4,176,900
Joe Cole Chelsea FC £74,588 £3,878,550
Petr Cech Chelsea FC £68,850 £3,580,200
