Yeah, I hope my parents will be able to keep up with my tanks. None of them are that hard to feed, there all on flakes and pellets, but I have 5 different tanks all with different foods. I'm also planing on setting up a tank in my dorm, 10 gallons is the limit, so I was thinking, idk if I want to spend the money, on a 10 gal planted dwarf puffer tank with a sand substrate.
 
thats cool, we were only allowed to have 5 gallon tanks at our dorm, which i couldnt even find when i looked, the smallest being a 5 1/2 (not including bowls). Thier main concern is obviously about them breaking and the water on the floor. I ended up with 2 tens in the room, but most people dont know tank sizes, so i didnt get in trouble for it, and if they did they didnt care, as thats thier least concern in a college dorm.
 
Ha, thats awesome. Last year I had a 10 and when my RA first saw it..."Is that 10 gallons?" "Yeah" "Ok, just checking." They really don't know and it is a little concern. My friend is planning to bring up his 12gallon nano reef which would be absolutely sick, they'll have no idea a 12 from a 10. My brothers roomate, he used to live in apartment style dorms, brought a Chinchilla in, he would keep it out and then during room checks or fire alarms he would put it in the closet. Ha, he never got caught with it.
 
I'll probably first start out at BSU here in my city keeping my tanks at my parents ,if i decide to go abroad i might set a 10 gallon up. but that three years away;) .
 
this is my third day and i all ready i wnt to kill all my teachers....
 
I finished my second week but i'm trying to take everything in stride,i think all my teachers are okay so far.
 
i dont get you americas how old do you have to be a freshman? here it goes like this in high school:
year7-11-12years old
year8-12-13years old
year9-13-14years old
year10-14-15years old
year11-15-16years old
iam in year 11, its the last year of forced education, then if you want to you can go to 6form or college
so how does yours work?

7 grade is 12 to 13
8 grade is 13 to 14
9 grade 14 to 15 so on to 12 grade 17-18 where you graduate and go on to college if you wish.I think you can legally drop out by 17yrs of age or 11 grade,not sure, but some states put penalties on this like not being able to have a drivers license and such to encourage at least a highschool diploma. Heard this on a talk show. So we are sorta a year behind. We are offered pretty much free college courses(AP) classes and some kids graduate early,you can also take online classes to free up your schedule for things you really want to do.
 
In Indiana you have to be 18 now to drop out... I am done with school for now... I have to go back for my masters then PhD after... but I am a teacher so school will never end... at least I can put as many tanks in my classroom too...
 
I didn't know that there was an age to being able to drop out, I just thought you could do it whenever. But I just looked it up and in MA its 16 years old. :headbang2 The younger the dropout, the greater the M*******! :D
