has your lfs ever played stupid?? even your fav lfs?

when a lfs wprker telles me something i know is wrong or just stupid i just go along with what they say. Dumb to argue with them. They dont care
hmmm that may be. buuut i was goin to get there big oscatr ) atleast 10 to 12 inches if not more ) and there advise was:
them: what fish do you have currently
me: well two 4.5-5 inche oscars a sal a firemouth a con
them: well the oscar will not get along with the smaler cichlids you have
me: well hmmmm and what else
them: you should get an oscar the same size or a LIL bigger then the ones you currently have
me: ok thanks * goes off searching for another fish *
so they do give good advise

Kind of... my lfs likes to suggest fish for me that they are well aware would easily outgrow my tank (I got my 220 from them, so most of the employees know me and my dad), ex: rtc's, tsn's, artc's, and a large albino ID shark.

And for some reason, they seem to be very uncommon in my area, that ID was the only albino I've ever seen over 10" at an lfs (this one was around 2-2.5').I had a lfs sell me a Senegal Bichir as a Dojo Loach... I tried to be point out the differences, but they even pulled out a BOOK and said, "See, same thing."
At that point, I stopped arguing and bought it!

And they charged me $30 dollars while the polleni was 15.00 and still said its a geo
