Correction... They are not listed on any States list of venomous species... They are 100% harmless... I have been bitten numerous times and have never had even the slightest reaction...

Is it possible you developed an immunity against their venom? I just read another thread, http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=363186, where the person bitten received swelling. Or I guess the person could have an allergic reaction to the venom causing the swelling. Either way those snakes are stunning. Once I move out and start keeping snakes, a hognosed will definitely be one of the first ones I get.
