There where some threads a while back regarding hot dogs as a supplemental food ...Since then on a lark I cut one up into small pieces and tried it, my Aro's went nuts they loved them.. after a couple of feedings a week plus their regular diet of shrimp, krill, earthworms, tadpoles and an Aro stick now and then..

They look great, better than ever. So Hats off to the ones who supplement their feedings with hot dogs, thanks for the tip and idea!

Oh and to those who will flame me because it's not a natural diet, flame away. I think I'll stick to this diet for a while while they size up...

I think I might try it.
I have alot of turkey hotdogs in the freezer, so why not?

ive never heard of feeding hot dogs.

Ted from Anythingfish.com feeds turkey hotdogs to all of his fish exclusively.
Pimas, cats, pacus.
All of his animals are doing PERFECT on this diet.

Just dont use pork/beef hotdogs as they cloud water cause of high fat and grease content.

With or without the bun?:D

You could stuff the hotdogs with quality pellets before feeding also.

The ablove post says that pork and beef are high in fat and grease content. So I guess it has to be turkey. I think imma give it a try. Is there anything good that will come out of feeding it hotdogs?

but are they cooked sausages or raw ones? please advise...

I can't remember the last time I saw hotdogs that weren't pre-cooked
