When you buy hotdogs from the store, they are technically "pre-cooked" to remove pathogens and what not.

Just thaw them out, cut into pieces and feed.
Bulks up fish fast.

I'm sure the fish could find these in the wild. What happens when a weiner dog falls off the boat in the Amazon? :D After a good laugh, I still not think that is a great idea. What is the internal pathology of the fish going to look like when it dies? Fat in the liver and pancreas and nitrites used as meat preservatives in its tissues. Even turkey hot dogs would have preservatives. I think a cheaper and better food is raw tilapia. The individual filets are frozen in separate bags and you just thaw and cut it into chunks.
