Hi all, I am from Australia
We locally can get baby saratoga leichardti once a year from Dec
Anyone has keep them before?
People said saratoga and Jardini arownana are diffenence . Jar is more aggressive that saratoga, anyone have experience???

I am looking for keep 2, would they able to keep 2 together in the same tank???
Or what other tank mate can go with? I hear peacock bass, flag tail and Oscar may a good choice .
They come at around 5 to 10cm only
Anyone can help get some idea??thanks

I don't see as many people keeping Lei's but Jars are known meanies, would rather keep with the cichlids imo. Just make sure it is eating and feeling secure otherwise it may be bullied out of food.

So do you think can keep 2 saratoga at the same tank

Australia has some imports. Will wait for more seasoned aros to chime in but just two does not usually work well.

Finally, I've got 2 of them today from LFS,
I put them together with nothing else,
Hoping will go well, if not I will plan B into others tank,

Im pretty sure all of the fish you listed besides the aro are illegal in Australia because they are not native
Not really, they are all legal.
Not Asian aro, local breed srartoga and jar ,even silver aro (very expensive)are all good , we also have lots of cichlid African and South American too..

2 lei in the same tank is pretty much a bad idea. They will fight and the dominant one will surely kill the other. Unless you are the lucky few by some miracle they manage to co‐habit peacefully. Most of the time it doesn't end well for one of them.
