Have jack dempsey jaguar hybrid that has mated with a oscar.

just a few days ago we were gonna kill the jack because he's very mean I mean like a parana mean. Not sure what all he is but we bought him as a jack dempsey an have come to see a jaguar resemblance in him any help here?

Any better pics of the hybrid? It doesn’t look like there’s much jack in there at all. Looks like there is some parachromis though.

he looks yellow right now but usually he has blue in him and his top fin has a red street only on the tip tip of the fin. Let me work on a better pic or maby I can get a few from when he was little.

I’m suspecting there is a bit of Yellowjacket cichlid in there. Cousin to Jaguar but much more yellow and striped.
Especially with the aggression you described.

A very stressed fish. I would move him before the pair kills it.

In all of my tanks, and I’m sure others can agree, hanging near the filter and showing dark colors is usually a sign of being beat up.
How big is the tank overall?
