There is a RD at my LFS that is literally killing every fish they put him in with. Someone brought him in and now they can't get rid of it. LOL
I am going to take him in a week (if he's still there) after I get my 360 gal set up but I have NEVER seen a Red Devil act the way this one does. Gill Flaring when your within 15 ft. of the tank, smashing his rock, spitting rocks, pacing, etc... Crazy.
I have some big, aggressive fish and even I'm concerned about taking him. LOL

dam i didnt know they were that aggressive. i have one about 7 inches and i always stick my hands in the bottom of the tank to straighten stuff back up and such and he runs away from my hands . ive never had a fish go nuts toward a person but sure would like to have one. i do have a 7 inch fahaka puffer on the way so maybe he show some more personality.
wow that red devil is a beauty, if you get him show pics in his new home.. i hope..Focker.. i am sure yours will get more aggressive in time, unless it just has a more laid back personality then most.. which is really better since you probably won't have to worry about your other fish although this is no sure thing either.
