I saw a thread not to long ago about being bitten by gars and there was some really interesting stuff about be bitten by fish. So if you've been bitten by a fish, what kind of fish was it? And did it hurt? I've been bitten by my 4" JD because it missed the food I was hand feeding it. It didn't hurt. Felt pretty strange.

i had a 27" rtcxtsn literally suck my hand in well over my wrist. like whole arm halfway up to my elbow in this dam fish. it was all because i hand fed rats by the tail and hed be nice and gentle so i held a piece of tilapia in the water...

Ive been bitten quite a few times. The most memorable my 26" silver aro bit almost my whole index finger didnt feel too good and.sliced my finger. Ive had a 15" pbass bite me didnt hurt but scared the hell out of me it was so fast. My gars came close a few times. Im most worried about my 13" male jaguar and my 18" dovii biting me they always try but been lucky so far. My dovii did break my scraper the other day durring tank cleaning as hard as he hit it i dont want him biting me.

Yeah plenty of times. Most the time its my breeding convicts and firemouths protecting thier fry. They bit hard. My male firemouth broke the skin a few times.

Whilst moving my 6" huejta gar (not a gar) he jumped outta the net and latched on to the skin in between my finger, felt like a snake bit and it kinda stung even being that small, I've had my hand in my rbp tank hundreds of times and not even one attempt to bite me.

I've been bitten by my cuban gars twice, by my smaller gator gars twice as well. Been bitten by oscars, a bicolour blenny, numerous smaller barbs/tetras/community fish. Probably some other things as well.

Aside from a little bit of blood from the gars, they haven't been bad. The most annoying has actually been the bicolour blenny. When I'd be cleaning near his hiding spot, he would come out and continue to bit me.
