Have you been bitten by your fish?

I've been bitten by my cuban gars twice, by my smaller gator gars twice as well. Been bitten by oscars, a bicolour blenny, numerous smaller barbs/tetras/community fish. Probably some other things as well.

Aside from a little bit of blood from the gars, they haven't been bad. The most annoying has actually been the bicolour blenny. When I'd be cleaning near his hiding spot, he would come out and continue to bit me.

What's it like being bitten by a gar? I've had so close ones with mine.

Aside from a minor cut and some blood not bad. I should also point out that all gar bites except 1 were from me being stupid and handfeeding. For the other one when I put my hand with a hose i was promptly bitten then released by a 14-15"ish cuban. Was probably expecting food and not my hand.

Wow lol. I hand feed and pet mine all the time and he loves it. Lol. But the close calls I had were the far missing the food and almost tagging my hand. He has gotten more actuate.

Ive been bitten by my breeding convicts. They hurt a little. I have a salvini pair that just spawned. The male is 6" and the female an inch smaller. The male got a good hold on some skin on my hand and it drew blood.

Iv'e been bitten by my 4 inch asian rtc when I was cleaning his tank when his favorite hiding spot. his mouth felt a little rough like sandpaper.

i was bitten by a gar before and it drew blood but didnt hurt. actually didnt think he got me till after i saw blood. teeth like needles so it nakes a pretty clean cut.

I've been bitten by my Oscars a few times while cleaning as well as my Senegal Bichir; my Silver Arow bites me pretty much every other time I feed her.

Luckily none of them have ever caused any damage.

My fimbriated moray bit me once when I was cleaning out his cave. Think I just got a lil too close to him for comfort and gave me a quick nip. He drew blood but nothing a small band aid and bottle of beer couldn't fix lol
