Have you been bitten by your fish?

The only bite that scared me was by my Oscar. I was hand feeding frozen feeders & he went after my finger instead of the fish & actually drew a little blood. My Angelfish pair would also try to bite me during tank changes during spawning time. Never got me though.

My fancy Goldfish (one of which is 10 inches) will suck/chew on your fingers which is cute as well as some of the Platies/Guppies/Bettas etc I had.

I had an arrowana that bit my daughter and drew blood. Later that night I walked in the room and he jumped out of my tank like he was going to get me.

My insane flowerhorn named Sharptooth. Nearly everytime I gravel vac or stick my hand in the tank to get to the prefilter sponges...:irked: I got bit by my old aro before too. A few scratches and a little bit of blood. Nothing compared to the flowerhorn...

Yeah I got rid of one straight out of fear of no knowledge at that time of what it carried since it was live caught. I own two that I know how to treat and luckily haven't had to go to the hospital. Hopefully one day I will be immune to it since I have been stung at least 9 times.

The Gymnothorax moringa on my avatar has come close to biting me a few times. nothing of significance has bitten me, but i wouldn't like getting bitten by that eel or the G.,fimbriatus

So far for me I've been bit by carp which obviously doesn't hurt then a channel cat and bass got me a few times. I do have a silver shiner I've had for a week and every time my hand goes in that tank it comes after it. Like last night I was replanting an uprooted plant and I had my arm all the way in the tank up to my arm put he got me right in the arm put scared me I nearly jumped and took the lid of with me. Now for the guys who've been tagged by rays how do you put up with that? Last summer I got tagged fishing barb nearly went threw my forearm deflected off the bone and came out. Worse pain of my life now whenever I see a ray on tv or someone near me catch one I cringe. God bless for putting up with that

Rays hurt really bad. My fear isn't the allergic actions but bacteria that can cause serious infections afterwards. I use ice and hydrogen perioxide.
