Have you been bitten by your fish?

I was bitten by my 12 inch Oscar. I was removing some river rock on one side of my tank and I had just stirred up a lot of gunk. I couldn't see anything and my hand got a little to close to my Oscars cave and he bit the side of my hand. It scraped me a little but didn't draw any blood. It mostly startled me and I did yell. I had to laugh afterwards

ive been bitten in the pointer finger by my old jardini arowana. he thought it was a hikari food stick -___-

it didnt hurt or anything and didnt drew blood. it was more of a small clamp before he let go after

How are you guys getting bit by fish ahhahaha?

I've never been bit. Because I don't put my hands in the tank. Seriously.....You don't need to put your hands in your tank. Just get the right tools to do the job. Get a long siphon pipe and something to act as tongs. No reason to have your hands down in a tank.

My 14 inch male jag, has almost gotten my hand countless times, I've just been lucky!

I have a 14 inch Jag hybrid, he's gotten me several times. Drew blood once. He sneaks up on the side of my hand when I was trying to put the intake tubes back on the filters. Now I just give up and leave them off. If I do have to put a hand in now, I use a net to keep him away from my hand. Water changes are now done with a 30 inch siphon tube so I don't have to stick a hand in there. It is more startling than painful when he bites. Everytime he does it, I say some not so nice words and threaten to filet him for dinner.
