I have years of disturbance from spirits, even in my childhood. I don't feel like talking about it, at least right now. But I thought this could be a good start to ask if you guys have had any encounter with spirits.

Yup.
My wife and the women in her family like to go ghost hunting. One night they begged me to go with them so after having 5 women nagging me for about an hour I finally got off my butt and we all hopped in my Blazer. We go to a few cemetaries and snap some pics to see if they show anything... No big deal. We get to another cemetary on a dirt road and I pull off and they all get out. I stayed in the truck with the engine running and the lights off in case one of the neighbors saw us. As soon as my wife took a pic all the locks in the truck started bouncing up and down super fast. Probably up and down 3 or 4 times per second. I've tried and I can't get them to go as fast no matter what I do. Anyways, so the locks are bouncing and I tell them, "Um guys, something's happening in here." My wife's aunt looks in at me and says, "Oh BS. You're just ******g with us." At that time it stopped. I raised my hands to show her it wasn't me and it started up again. They all hopped in the truck and we boogied outta there.
After we left her family finally gave me some background on that cemetary. Turns out it was an all black cemetary and most of them were killed back in the day by the town sheriff. (Sheriff McCall in Umatilla, FL if you want to check.)
So here's us white folks going up to a graveyard full of black people that are probably not too happy to see us taking pics of their final resting place. I'm not saying it was a ghost trying to make us leave, but I haven't figured out any other way that happened. And btw - I had the only keypad to the truck, so it wasn't that.
Another time we went to a different cemetery. This one is where my wife's dad's mom is burried. From what I hear she didn't care for my wife or my mother-in-law. Lucky me, I had both of them in the truck. So we're sitting in the middle of the graveyard and my wife turns on her camera and says, "Come out come out wherever you are." At that very moment the camera shut off and would not come back on. I said we were sorry and were leaving. As soon as my front tire made it onto the road the camera came back on and didn't shut off for the rest of the night.

Thanks a lot for sharing that experience MrRngr94. Such experience definitely leaves you thinking...but I would say if something horribly wrong occurs, it's all your fault. I would say it is ok to be curious, but going like that..could also make you guys appear as if challenging or trying to disturb, and you know what...you can just have no idea what you would come face to face with, it can be that you would never wish to see again. Worse...if that thing follows you home and turns your life a misery. I am not trying to scare you, but seriously am telling you what can happen and you know I am right. Thanks again!
Wow i've wanted to start one of these threads for awhile. My family is apparently quitte 'intune' with supernatural occurances. Mostly just feeling or hearing ghosts. I lived in one house from the age of 7 to 14 which was haunted where the ghosts would mostly mess with my mum but occasionally me. And another house from the age of 14 to 18 where the ghost or what you want to call it mainly messed around with me. I have a quite a few stories about both houses but will share a couple. I know some people will be skeptical but take it or leave it. I hope this thread doesn't turn into a huge flame war of 'you're talking sh*t'.
The house i lived in when i was the age of 7 to 14 was probably the scarier of the two. As soon as we moved into the house I remember the first week or so nobody could sleep properly. At the time my cousin was staying with us and shared a room with my older sister. A few nights my cousin and older sister heard a constant banging on our open air roof top that sounded like someone was taking a hammer to the metal door of storage places we had up there. My dad went up there the next day and could find no source of where the hell the banging could come from. A few years after this all happened when me and my sister were older we were talking abt it with my mum and she remembered that i had complained that during one of the first few nights i felt someone constantly trying to grab iwrist. Things kind of died down after that and I personally don't remember anything. My mum did tell me a couple of weird things though. My mum has a study that is located on the ground floor about 10 meters from the front door. The front door is a huge heavy oak door which has this huge door knob on it. Mum was saying that sometimes at night while she was in her study she would her the front door open and slam close repeatedly. In my parents room there is a little alcove/balcony type thing which has venetian blinds for the windows and a curtain that covers the alcove. She would often hear at night the sound of someone running there fingers up and down the venetian blinds. She said she could sometimes feel someone walking past her bed to the area behind her bed where the closest and bath room are, she always assumed it was my dad coming home late but sometimes she would wake up and my dad won't be there. She would also heard the drawers in her toilet open and close as if someone was rummaging through it. The scariest thing my mum has told me about that house was actually about me but i dont remember it. She told me when i was 17 and no longer lived in the house, but She mentioned that when we first moved in after all that initial stuff happened my dad got a fung shui man to come in and have a look at the place. The feng shui man had told my dad that he feels there is an old man's spirit that resides in this house and he did his best to get rid of it. My dad didn't tell anyone but my mum who in turn didn't tell anyone until she was unfolding this story. So mum carries on and tells me that one night when i was about 7 or 8, my mum woke up in the middle of the night to see me standing in her door way with one hand rubbing my eyes and the other one reaching up as if i was holding an adults hand. My mum asked me what was wrong, and she said that i replied 'mummy an old man is trying to take me away.' Apparently mum just lead me back to bed and that was that. But when my mum told me that i almost shat my self.

My family has a history living in haunted houses. To keep it short one where it sounded like children were crying inside the cupboard.
And another that I personally lived in that was built in early 1800's I think. As a kid I was not allowed to go up into the attic because of what may be up there. There was a room blocked off in the basement with no entrance but a small lookthrough hole(slave hiding room?) and all sorts of things would misteriously happen.
I was watching "ghost hunters" the other night and thought about making one of these threads.
