A few of my friends have waited for their parents to go away on holidays.

Once theyre on holidays they upgrade tank sizes and the parents come back and dont even realise. LOL

Definetly a cheater. not worried about marriage yet, but I am hiding a tank im building in the closet....and secretly getting filters and media for the 55g....lucky for me im quick and good with words. thats all i'll say *shifts his eyes left and right* dont tell anyone *vanishes in a shroud of smoke*

omg!!! this is a cool topic -lol i must be in the right forum finally :woot: Ive 'cheated' on my hubby w/ fish and tanks many times in many ways(sorry no wife or gf -not only guys have this problem) -usually I would just buy the tanks/fish (or have them shipped ) and bring them in before he got home (managed to hide a 6'X2; tank under a blanket in a spare room for a long time). I had some giant danio dithers that somehow turned into a 22" silver arowana :grinno: But Ill admit Ive lied -hes come home early on days Im getting a box fed-exed and I'll be like .."oh someone from the internet just sent me these,i dont know why" . My usual tactic is to say "it only cost like $5.00"(yeah right ..5 X 10) to this day my husband has no idea I actually spent $480 on a fish one time.But when I decided to build a 360g tank in our living room had to swear I would get rid of some smaller ones ,which one of these days Ill do (when i get my 500g :devil: that is ).I figure what the heck ,i work! and my hobby is way less expensive then his- hot rods and motorcycles :D
