Ended up giving a 56 column tank setup I bought for angels away. Turns out I dont care for angels and didnt know what else to put in there.
The whole angelfish thing happened to me, and that's what i was partly thinking of when i posted this.

Setup a 240, didn't like it. Tore it down and sold it. Got another one that I like. Now I'm happy.
Most of the tanks i've had i'd change the setup and fish stock almost every 2 months.
But after not having tanks for almost 10 years, i took my time this time round when i finally got my 15 year old dream of 190 gallon. I spent months just figuering what kind of fish I wanted, plants and layout.
I actually didn't decide on the fish before i finished doing the hardscape and planting and when tank was finished cycling. It's a tough thing to choose fish, but I ended up with angels as usual.
I was at one point so frustrated with the process of choosing fish, I almost wanted to sell the whole thing after I added plants to the tank. I thought it was silly of me to spend almost every waking hour thinking of fish and taking daily trips to LFS and browsing.
And even now, I think this tank is the best setup i ever had, i'm still allways a little ....ehh.
No but I have set up a tank and taken months to get it inhabited.
