i've only broke one tank which was small, but the sealent has broke on a few

Twice in 33 years of fish keeping...the first time I was about 14/15, at 4 in the morning, thing just went and exploded in my room ...will never forget my father, in his bathrobe, with water allmost to his ankles and fish jumping around him and all of them getting minor ( i dont know why, but they were minor ) electricity discharges and me in bed withou the slightest clue about what to do and what to explain.....:nilly:

In 20 years I've had two tanks break.

The first one I was 16 and the tank was a 29 gallon with angels and tetras. My rather "large" friend bumped into it and pretty much fell over and sat on it while trying to dance in my room.:nilly: We had to replace the carpeting in my room as well as part of the sub-floor (which was OK with me seeing as the carpet was the original 70's blue shag.)

Second tank was a ten gallon with killies; that broke a couple years ago. I was just sitting here watching TV when I heard what sounded like water running by the bookcase. The whole bottom had cracked apart! No rock or anything was in the tank, only water, killi fish, and a wad of java moss, so I think it was just a bad tank.

This is my biggest nightmare with the two pacus... :nilly: :WHOA: :WHOA:  :irked:   :nilly:
