Yes, they are called "veil tails" and you can buy them from this sight:

I have two long fin tigers, both about 10 inch without the tail, tails are not overly long and flowing yet but getting there, will try to get some decent pics of them all I have are old pics.
Cool, that would be nice!!!

Have you ever ordered from them? I'm asking because for some reason they seem "shady" to me there.

I have heard that these are very suseptable to fin/tail rot because of the overly long fins, anyone else heard that or have any experience with them haveing fin/tail rot (Aquamojo or James)?

James, I'd like to see some pics of your Vein Tailed Tigers if you have any.

Me likey.

Almost bought long fin red, but it was gone before I could get it.
:(

I was going to get like mo's one but it was a tiger and it was really differnt to a normal tiger oscar. It had 3 sharp stripes downs its sides so beauiful but they wanted 58 bucks for it i only had 30 to spend on the fish :( i kinda regret not saving up but now i got a cool crazy oscar so yer :D there always at my LFS they got a huge tank just for oscars i see these long fined all the time i love watching that tank last time two oscars were fighting 3 were sulking in the corners  and 3 others yer just floating around looking like oscars :D .

I didn't find that. The fins weren't the problem. With me it's always water hardness that is the problem...pits them out. Oscars are like bulldogs with fins. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I have not had any problems with fin/tail rot at all not even a sign of it , one thing I have noticed is they seem to grow a little slower then a regular O not much but a little bit, aside from that they are the same as my other two O's, I could see fin/tail rot being a problem if they are keep with nippy fish as the longer fins would be an easy target.

Here are some crappy pics (my camera is just the point an shoot type) but gives you an idea. They are about 10 inch without tail and 12-13 with, not overly long and flowing like most you see but they keep getting longer slowly.
ps. sorry about the dirty glass my 3 year old loves to try and touch the O's.
