I picked this guy up a couple of months ago, he out grew his old owners tank. now he is in my 540gl and is doing great. I hand feed him every night. but he does not look like all the other shovelnose online. so what do you think

Stunted for sure, I see these all the time at work makes me sad

The guy I got him from had him in a 180. with around 5 other large fish. He has lots of room now. he has such a personality.
Wow, can't say I have seen a tigershovelnose like that...he looks more like a elephantshovelnose lol 
yea, i've seen a couple that were stunted like that, they were turn in's at various LFS'. i just got a new TSN too.. i need to take some pics of the new folks..
I feed pellets to the other tank mates and he eats some of them some times but I feed him some talapia with cichlid sticks placed in the pices every night he eats about 6 or 7 2in pices. and some times when I walk by the tank he will let me know he wants a treat. he eats from my hand, if i try to pet him while he eats he gets mad and goes to the bottom of the tank and wont look at me for a while. hehe
