and ill believe the fact that you say it doesnt clean up fish poop like a filter would do... but i believe that fish waste makes bacteria... so im pretty sure its cleanin some of that up.... but who knows,,, when it come to you,, you got answers for everything EXPERT!!!

Sure you still should use one. It helps with other things other then just algea that is just one thing of many the naked eye cannot see. But of course you don't necessary need one it's a choice of I can so I do for me myself but hey I want the best quality environment for are my cichlids so why not?

Dude.. I know what UV's do. It may have helped out a lot. The tank looks great, the water looks clear. I'm not saying your water isn't clear and I'm not saying that your UV didn't help that, but UV's don't vaporize poop and they don't clear tannins from wood. I'm not trying to correct you, I'm trying to give you some of what I know. You don't have to believe a word I say if you don't want to. I'm also not saying it was a waste, I use them too. Don't take everything so personally....
danh.... bro.... u got all twisted..... i never said it cleaned poop.... but as poop creates bacteria,, it is cleaning some of that bad bacteria it created!!!! UNDERSTAND!!!! and as far as my amberish color water i had before WELL i guess it worked magic for me!!!! cuz my water is clear,,, what can i say!!! let me ask you this then if it didnt help the amberish color or tannins as you say.... what or how did it clear after i installed the UV???? and before all this B>S started... i stated what it has done for my tank & it gave me crystal clear water and all of the above....that im satisfied for paying 300$ and you come in and correct me sarcastically!! and i believe you did bro.... danh we been here before and im just gonna say this is MY EXPERIENCE... you have yours and i have mine...... so i guess we can leave it like that expert!!!
You read the sarcasm yourself. I didn't put any sarcasm in to it. I was telling you that your UV isn't helping fish waste or tannins from wood. I said that the UV MAY HAVE CLEARED YOUR WATER, but that means that the amber colored water wasnt from fish waste or tannins from wood. Understand that??? This "B>S" started when you read something factual about UV's and got upset about it. That's not my fault.
