NEVER TO LATE FOR P&S! Beautiful fish. I agree they need some sand in there but they all look very happy and healthy to me. Is everyone eating the same food? The discus don't look like they are getting outcompeted to food at all.

My 360 is getting a makeover when my ST gets picked up. I plan on putting sand in there for them.. A vender advertised them as 6"+ and they turned out to be 4.5-5" and when I put them straight into the 360 they got picked on by other fish. I lost one unfortunately.. Was really hoping they would be at least 6" to go with my 8" one otherwise I wouldn't have ordered them! But I am really happy with the quality they came in so I guess I can't really complain.

Yep.. they all eat the same stuff chopped shrimp, tetra bits and worms.

you've always got the nicest leucostictas... what did you end up doing with the old stand for the 360? removing the tile or just dumping sand over it?

that indo is awsome looking i was thinking of putting discus with datnoids but every where i read seems like it would be really hard to keep the water quality at a good level for the discus. what do u use as a filter

Thanks Vince.. My dad ended up giving it away.. I'm removing the tiles. I don't like how algae is growing on the sides of it and you can see it when looking at the tank. Also think my tank is too dark.. too much black was a bad idea!

They are not as hard as everyone says they are.. I'm keeping them in tap water at 80* and just a 40g sump with like 10lb of bio rings as filtration. They are actually pretty hardy IME.
