Yeah same here and they're a much more manageable size and price. I'd definitely love to have a pair. They take about 6-7 years to be old enough for breeding so it will take a bit before you will have babies to help get some of your money back.

I wonder if Podocnemis vogli is as herbivorous as Podocnemis erythrocephala(listed above).....because price wise vogli is way cheaper.
