I know there's an older thread, but it's over a year old. What is your favorite hot sauce?

Now, I'm not a serious Chile head and I can't eat things that are super hot and I haven't had a lot of different sauces, so my opinion doesn't mean much, but I'm not going to say regular Tabasco or Frank's Red Hot, lol.


here's some that I like:

Dave's Total Insanity
Dave's Hurtin' Habanero
Orange Krush
Ass-Kickin' Cajun

I got a bottle of Dave's Ghost Pepper (not the Private Reserve) and I'm afraid of it, lol. I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to try it.
 
Siracha is tasty. I don't really have a favorite hot sauce, but there was this Daitil Pepper Garlic Hot Sauce I had one time that pretty much topped the list. It was super tasty... shame I can't remember the name...
 
Pepper is to spicy for me....lol
 
I'm not much into adding hot sauces unless I'm eating dim sum. :drool: And even then, its the house blend, which I don't even know. I'll have to ask next time. I will add jalapeno peppers to food occasionally....

Daves is some good stuff espescially the hurtin habenero. I use the insanity only for idiots that say they can take anything. Here in CA we get a ton of mexican hot sauces for like $2. a bottle so I try a lot of different types. Most are just salty tabasco but, there's a few good ones like chipotle. Sirracha is some good stuff. Reminds me I need a new bottle. I like to bbq some chicken and mix a little hot sauce in with the bbq sauce. Sweet and hot always gets compliments!
 
Every tried Endorphin Rush? I didn't know what "HOT" was until my friend brought it over my house one day...

Personally, I like Franks just fine, I actually use it on a LOT of stuff.
