HAHAHAHA, pain is when you get bit by a viper boa or a macklott's python. And still that is low on the chart. Geckos are just anoying.

I have never been biten by a snake be....... Know actually have been bitten by a garter snake.... I didn't really feel anything. Then again it was only a garter.

Yeah I guess there are a lot more painful bites out there but a bite from a Tokay is not pleasent

I guess I'll just ask you guys real quick (not to derail) but if I am considering one of these, should I pretty much bet on getting bit? Is it alright to wear gloves(what kind work best?) or are gloves to sissy and I should just forget about a Tokay ? I don't like being bitten,

I think it is safe to say you will get bit. I personally don't think there is anything wrong with wearing gloves, I wear leather gardening gloves 90% of the time when working with my Tokay. Here is a pic that kinda shows the gloves.
