It was the first thing I thought of when I put that monster in there....I think it was just way too much for a 10 gal to handle. Should I go with a smaller A.C. filter or just no carbon?
 
i too run a ac 50 on a ten gallon. but my water is crystal clear. im running all the media that came with the filter. just do the once a week 20% water change and you should be fine.
