Hazy looking fish?

A high pH or hard water can make some fish show a little duller. That might change once they acclimate a little better. I can't remember, but do you have white substrate? That will make some fish fade too.
If the cause is not water parameters, the feeders may have brought in disease. All you need is one carrier.
You don't say what size or how old your fish are, but a 125 is much too small for all those, even at mid adult size.
If they are young maybe they can handle it for a little while. But overcrowding will eventually cause stress, and in turn disease.
Sorry to be a downer, but somebody had to say it. You've got large fish, that live in large bodies of water in a puddle.

Two 9'' oscars, one 8'' jag, one 9'' Pbass, one 9'' TSN, and two 4'' tinfoil barbs. with one small piece of driftwood and a 4'' piece of PVC for hiding.
Your stocking is fine. You already know about the growth long term.
I kind of doubt you have velvet or something. You've been around fish a long time, and I dunno how you'd miss that.
But without pics I don't think anyone can suggest much else.

I will get a few pics this evening if I can. These fish never slow down. I haven't seen a tank where the oscars damn near keep up with the dithers
