Enviroment colouration will only help that much. Of course dark coloured tank will make the fish display darker colour and lights to enhance further.

Black base and yes it's a bare tank.

We dont paint our tank here in singapore for we got a kinda sticker called oyama. We paste them onto our tank.

Hey bro I actually just bought a Juru after seeing this. Yours looks nice, I would say its a "flash tiger" but a lot of ppl have been arguing if they really do keep that color in tanks. Has yours always looked like that with the bright yellow?

As for the colour of the juru, I notice that this fella love to change it's base colour according to it's mood in the tank. It's now more towards purplish base than yellow now.
