Red Tail Gold is RTG, as someone already mentioned rtg 4 level shine, HBRTG 5 level shine, and so on. But saying that, that is only a guide, there has been many cases where RTG hits 5th level shine and HBRTG fully crossing.
This is true. This is why I prefer getting quality HBRTG or RTG, because there is always a thrill of it achieving a very high shine or crossing as it matures. Unlike xbacks that are bound to cross but unfortunately some doesn't.
